About the Building
67 Vestry Street was built in 1897 for the A&P (Atlantic & Pacific Tea) Company by the architect Frederick Dinkelberg (he later designed the Flatiron building). It was modified with a two-story addition in 1910.
It has housed many great artists whose presence in TriBeCa became the cornerstone of it's revival as a great urban neighborhood. Today it continues the tradition of being home to artists as well as families & small businesses.
The new owner has applied for a permit to build a new eleven story building in its place.
Help us save this piece of New York history.
